Rural Retreats and Team Building
You can organize your event at Cerdeira, such as a company retreat or an important meeting that requires concentration. You can also bring your yoga group or schedule a painting retreat. The beauty of the mountains, the murmuring of the streams, and the chestnut and oak trees which blend with the village of schist houses, create a welcoming and incredible environment.

Team Building Activities
We offer a range of sport-related team-building activities and group art classes. If you are an adventurous group, we can arrange kayaking, canyoning, and water-hiking experience. For art-related team-building experiences, we do personalized programs for each team. We work with several tutors that can design a program to fit your needs better. Creative Experiences
Our School of Arts and Crafts is the perfect place to put your creativity to work: learning woodworking, making a beautiful tile, learning a traditional recipe in a cooking workshop, or creating a clay bowl on the potter’s wheel are just a few of the creative experiences we offer.
For our creative experiences, we design customized programs for each team. We work with a variety of instructors who can plan an activity tailored to your needs and preferences.
Paintball
Paintball is a game that requires teamwork, quick reflexes, and strategic thinking. It is an extreme sport that involves high levels of adrenaline; however, it is viewed as a relaxing and “stress-relieving” activity that emphasizes personal interaction and connection with nature.
Wine Games
The Wine Games consist of various games related to wine and the senses.
These activities are perfect for team-building, and anyone—whether they’re familiar with wine or not—can participate.
Ready for a team-based wine adventure?
Chanfana Workshop
In this workshop, we’ll learn how to season the goat meat, place the ingredients in black clay pots, light the traditional wood-fired oven, and cook the chanfana for 4 hours. At the end, we’ll eat!
Adventure Sports
For the more adventurous, why not explore the region on a kayaking trip, go canyoning, or take a water hike?
If you’re looking for something like paintball, tree-top adventure, archery, a treasure hunt, bubble soccer, rappelling, a slide, or rock climbing, we also have partners ready to take you on an unforgettable adventure!
Geocaching
Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity in which participants use a GPS receiver or mobile device and other navigation techniques to hide and search for “geocaches” or “caches” at specific locations marked by coordinates.
Guided Hikes
The Serra da Lousã offers many hiking trails with spectacular views, winding through streams and centuries-old trees. If you’re looking for a sporting activity, we organize guided hikes along the region’s best trails. For a truly amazing experience, we can also take you on a deer-watching tour.
We work in partnership with experienced local guides who will ensure you have an invigorating outing!
Treasure Hunt
For those looking for a relaxing activity that involves plenty of socializing and sharing, this experience will be a memorable one for the entire group. Various team-building and “icebreaker” games will be organized for all participants.

Casa da Aldeia
Casa da Aldeia is a multipurpose space with a magical atmosphere. Perfect for meetings or creative group activities.
It is the biggest building in the village, with two spacious floors, and has been rebuilt in line with traditional methods, using traditional materials as part of the international project EcoArq – Ecological Architecture.
Accommodation
Your guests can stay in the ten comfortable, self-contained houses in Cerdeira, accommodating up to 43 people.
Additional services
We are more than happy to help you to plan your group's stay depending on your specific needs. We can organize catering, walks with an experienced guide, or round out your stay with a creative experience.
