Image Transfer for Ceramics Course

For the third time at Cerdeira Home For Creativity, we welcome Suso Machón, who comes to share with us his artistic sensibility and his profound knowledge of the many different techniques for transferring images onto a ceramic support in the Image Transfer for Ceramics Course.

Images, be they drawings or photographs in digital format, have countless applications in ceramics.

In the Image Transfer for Ceramics Course, Suso Machón will teach three different techniques, from etching, ceramic decal, to lithography and even photocopy, all of them using accessible materials and equipment such as computer and printer. This opens up a new world of infinite possibilities in ceramics for creative people!

This course is intended, not only for ceramists, but also for illustrators and for all those interested in the subject.

SUSO MACHÓN

Suso Machón is a Professional Potter and Trainer since 1979. Lives and works in Tudela del Duero, Spain, where he shares his workshop since 1995 with the ceramicist May Created. His engraving work we found not only in panels but also in his sculptures and ceramic jewelry. It regularly exhibits throughout Europe, from Sweden to Austria, where it has also been training. IMAGE TRANSFER FOR CERAMICS course details

SCHEDULE:

First day: 4pm - 6:30pm

Days after: 10am - 6pm, with two hours lunch break.

CONDITIONS

• Enrollments up to 2 months before the course start date.

• 10% discount on the total cost of the course if you make a prompt payment at least 3 months before the course start date.

THE IMAGE TRANSFER FOR THE CERAMICS COURSE FEE INCLUDES:

• Integration in a small workgroup (from 6 to 10 participants)

• Training 6 hours a day, speaking in English and Spanish;

• All the materials needed for the course and firings

• Free accommodation in our shared residences during the course (upon availability). The residences are equipped with a dormitory, kitchen, shared bathrooms, washing machine, towels, bed linen, and wi-fi;

• 10% discount on the base rate when booking an individual house (minimum of 2 nights). The base rate refers to a stay of 2 people and includes breakfast, equipped kitchen, towels, bed linen, and wi-fi.

ADICIONAL LUNCH SERVICE:

Lunch package for 14€/meal when booked at least one week before check-in. After this date, the regular price applies.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR COURSES AND WORKSHOPS

You may withdraw within 14 days of registration, paying the correspondent transfer fees. Following the EU consumer protection legislation, payments are not refunded past 14 days of registration. The payment will be fully reimbursed if the training cannot be held because of insufficient students.

Suppose the training is canceled by Cerdeira - Home For Creativity for reasons of significant force such as a pandemic, civil disorder, a natural catastrophe, medical or family issues of the teacher, and others beyond our control. In that case, Cerdeira will offer a voucher for a different workshop of your choice. The voucher is valid for two years.
